I like to think that racism in ALL its forms should properly be considered “anti-American.”

Isn’t this the former mayor who drove the city into bankruptcy by looting their pension funds?

Attacking public schools through race baiting to prop up the sagging religious school industry.

Projection. White racists are always complaining that “Blacks hate white people” in fact that is how you can identify a white racist.

And yet somehow, among white people who aren’t fundamentalists, the President did just as well as Romney. We have watched Mr. Obama govern for four years, and we know he’s not a racist, you douchebag.

I think there are white people who are doing that well enough on their own, they don’t need the Public Schools to do it for them.

It doesn’t surprise me that Hedgecock keeps going farther and farther down this path. When he jumped over to WND that was the sign that his bad-craziness obsession had finally reached its final stages.

Years ago, after he had been disgraced out of office (and saved from jail time because of incompetence by the local prosecuting attorney), and started his radio show, I used to listen to Hedgecock. At that time he didn’t seem so insane.

Over the years he’s gotten worse, and when Obama was elected Hedgecock, like so many other right wing personalities, discovered the money was in hating the black guy.

“I lived through Rosa Parks, I lived through Martin Luther King, Jr. The consensus was at that time among white people that those civil rights efforts were in the noblest tradition in the American republic…

Yeah, right. Those days were just downright PEACHY throughout the South for people striving for Civil Rights.

Hint to Mr. Hedgecock: To this very day, there are still communities in the southern US that STILL celebrate the MLK holiday as either “Robert E. Lee Day”, or even more egregiously, “James Earl Ray Day”.

True of the whole state of Alabama, which shares MLK day with RE Lee. Jefferson Davis’ birthday is also a state holiday.
